A New Three Easy Step Website Lets You Test Drive A Tattoo Or Just Tattoo a Picture For Fun
There is nothing worse than that sinking feeling of remorse after embedding the wrong tattoo in your skin or putting a tattoo on the wrong place. The good news is there is now a new website, Tatmash.com that lets you virtually try on a tattoo before you go under the tattooist's needle. Besides being free, Tatmash is easy to use. Upload a picture of you or the target part of your body. Upload a tattoo design or pick one from the Tatmash library. Place the tattoo on the picture. Walla. Tatmash does its mathematical magic, and makes the design look like real ink under the skin on the photo.
"I thought people would really like this free service" says Tatmash founder Bob Nebrig. I created the site after helping a friend who wanted a tattoo. I used Photoshop to show her before she went under the needle what the tattoo would look like. It dawned on me that there must be many people, who would like to see what they were putting on their body before they inked their skin, "I also thought people who would never get a tattoo would like to share their tattooed picture with friends for fun and humor."
The trick was to build a free site which was super easy to use and would create a realistic result. Tatmash was born.
Tatmash is an extensive source of tattoo ideas as well as being a tool. The Tatmash Tattoo Library is mushrooming as users post new designs every day. Already there are thousands of tattoos for visitors to see and try on.
Nebrig's idea that Tatmash would be a site for fun is happening. People are even putting tattoos on pictures of their pets and cars and posting them for the world to see.
Nebrig says "Use the site as an electronic fitting room to see what works for you without having a needle jabbed into your body. Put your tattooed picture up for an online vote or share it on popular social networking sites such as facebook and twitter to find out what others think.
